El Toro, Tapas Bar Restaurant

My partner and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at El Toro tapas bar. Despite its small size and limited seating, the restaurant was bustling with customers on a Friday night. The service was welcoming and efficient, and the food was delicious, offering authentic Spanish tapas just as we had hoped for. We left satisfied and content, and we are already looking forward to returning.

My husband, son, daughter, partner, and I visited El Toro for several family birthdays. It was our first time trying this restaurant. We arrived at 6pm on a Sunday evening and were the only patrons there, so it was very quiet. The menu had a good selection and the prices were reasonable, although some dishes were a bit pricey for the portion size. The chef and his wife were friendly and attentive. Our 5-year-old granddaughter had a great time, and although the ambiance was lacking, we still had a pleasant evening.

We had a fantastic night at El Toro. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful evening.

I have visited El Toro many times and it never disappoints. You are guaranteed a warm welcome from chef Philippe and the food is always delicious.

A last minute choice as it was local..... We booked a table which is probably a necessity as the restaurant is small and cosy. The tapas was varied, very tasty and the portions were good. The house white wine was very acceptable, and the whole evening was enjoyable, but it’s not a late evening (suited us). The staff were really friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to going back.
