I was very impressed with this restaurant. It had been years since my last visit, but I will definitely be back soon. The Italian cuisine was delicious and filling, with very generous portions. The staff were friendly and cheerful. View all feedback.
What Mike C doesn't like about Al Forno:
The service was good at the beginning but deteriorated as the meal progressed, to the point where we decided not to order dessert. The food was decent. I wouldn't recommend returning for a second visit. View all feedback.
The best I had in a time. the chicken was amazingly boiled, the sauce was from this world and the kartoffels were incredible. the whole thing was just perfect. I am very fussy with food, but this place has surpassed my expectations. good work to the chef and the owners. I'll be back to what I get.
We live in the north, but are down to visit family. after we had eaten in a pub and nothing we have tied up, we remembered this beautiful italian we had visited before. when we were 6 o'clock on good Friday, we thought we might not be able to adapt, but they did, and then the young one was busy. we had a big drink and an egg with a total of £55. eating was beautiful and so much. the staff is very friendly and nothing too much annoyed. really enjoyable and hopefully again when we visit again.
A great Sunday dinner. we ordered one main part and one side to share (a drink each). it came out as £25 per person. the service was good. the restaurant was busy. highly recommended to book the advance.
We come here every week. The food is amazing (burger, steak, veal!! . The calamari is superb. The staff are all very friendly and everything is done to make sure you are happy. My one small gripe is that it would be helpful to have better bowls/plates for children. Very highly recommended
Great place for reasonable price. Lovely spicy pizza and refreshing juices See ya again soon xx
