this is my first visit. it was the best place where I went to eat in hull. we were warmly welcomed by beautiful waiters. the restaurant owner manager is very good to earth and offers a first class service despite. there was no booking anymore, as the restaurant was fully booked due to half the price. he is very humble and offers excellent customer service. we ordered lamb karahi, huh bhuna and tarka dal. the food is... What User doesn't like about Tandoor Mahal:
ordered take and came an hour after delivery slot. poppadoms pickle tablet was good. garrison, that was watery missing any kind of taste, chips were soggy, but wobbly was decent. Chicken tikka was watery, but had a taste. will not get away from here again. View all feedback.
We had the 4 course set meal at £12.95 each. the food was quickly brought out, there was a lot of it and it tasted very nice. the staff was friendly and polite.
Really nice eating, good atmosphere and very fair price menu. highly recommended
Really weird chicken maras. the chicken was separated from the curry and I have no idea what the curry sauce was, as it was cold and gloopy, not sure whether it was a curry at all, as there was no taste. 2 days after, tbh I still don't feel great. a total catastrophe and I would not recommend this place.
Service was terrible trying to order food was a nightmare used to be a big fan of the place but won't be using them again definitely gone downhill
Not what it used to be like. Tikka masala was pink and sweet. Naan bread soggy. Dopiaza ok but not much sauce. Balti was just doable. Used to be a big fan of tandoor mahalo but seems to be losing its touch.
