I have always enjoyed Sunday dinners here, but I was quite disappointed during my visit today. On March 9, 2017, we had to wait a long time for our lunch, and then we ended up waiting again for our vegetables to arrive. My companion had almost finished her meat and potatoes before the vegetables finally came. Additionally, the serving dishes were messy with overflow, which was unappealing when we received our food. Lovely friendly staff and Sunday lunch was nice except for the cauliflower cheese as I don't eat cheese and it's always the same each time we have been would like them to change choice of veg View all feedback.

The food is delicious and feels homemade. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there’s a great selection of authentic real ales to choose from.
