I absolutely loved the crispy fried pork and the special fried rice! On top of that, my food was served hot, which is a huge plus in my book. I will definitely be returning for another meal. The ambiance was simple yet charming, with beautiful displays of Chinese art adorning the walls. What User doesn't like about Canton:
The food was terrible. We asked for both meals to be spicy but only one of them had pepper cut up on it. They charge $100 to upgrade to fried rice fromwhite rice. The meat (sweet and sour) was cold but the rice was warm, so they most likely had the meat cooked before we ordered, so the food isn't fresh/done to order. The victor was wonderful, really enjoyed the fry pork.
Service was quick. I went with the roast chicken which looked way better than it tasted, but I cant use one food type to judge the restaurant
Very tasty meal..especially roasts the crispy pork. renovation by restaueant looks great
Eating was good and that is what is important, old style Chinese eating, yum
The ambiance is beautiful, the location is stunning, and the meals are delicious. The staff is also very friendly.
