I had a wonderful experience dining at Solstice last night. The food was fantastic, and the staff provided excellent service.
I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. While I completely understand that some guests prefer a quiet dining atmosphere and may not appreciate the sounds of a baby or toddler, the staff should have informed us right away that this establishment isn't kid-friendly. Aside from the waitress who was genuinely trying to ensure we had a good time, the rest of the staff, especially the hostess, were quite rude. At one point, a staff member approached our table and said, "We may have to take your baby if he continues to make noise, as people are complaining." I would have understood that and would likely have taken my kids outside to avoid disturbing others, but there are much more courteous ways to communicate that. Additionally, the duck I ordered was quite disappointing.
