The restaurant received mixed reviews from diners. While some enjoyed the ambiance, excellent service, and delicious food such as the veal chop, rack of lamb, and shrimp cocktail, others were disappointed with undercooked steaks, poor quality vodka, and mediocre drinks. The staff, however, was highly praised for their attentiveness and professionalism. Despite some inconsistencies, the overall dining experience seemed to be pleasant for most patrons, making it a recommended spot for a visit to Banff.

Chops has a broadly appealing menu, featuring both classic as well as innovative dishes. There are also many choices from a specials menu to add to the possibilities! Everything is extremely well prepared, service is professional, and prices are consistent with high-quality, finer dining. Our party of four thoroughly enjoyed all of their meals. An excellent choice for a special occasion or just when you want a nicer meal in a pleasant atmosphere. Recommended without hesitation! 
Delicious steak and entire meal. Friendly wait staff though the seemed understaffed. Busy night that they handled well
