Cute little wine shop in Kingston NY. If you come upstate (and I’m assuming you’re stopping at Kingston, because why wouldn’t you), you have to visit Brunette. It’s a small wine bar, but it has really great options like the Hungarian grape wine I had. Didn’t try any food but I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s also good! Come relax by the waterfront here at Brunette! View all feedback.
What Štefan Kala doesn't like about Brunette:
Unfortunate that we didn't like this place. First waitress seemed super nice but upon sitting we got very yuppy vibes, like we weren't welcome. Staff forgot about us and were short with us when we finally got served. Food is overpriced (and we are from Manhattan) and is insanely small portions. Very poor wine selection too. We couldn't get out of there fast enough, especially because at this point our waitress forgot... View all feedback.
Great food, great drinks and great atmosphere. Try the tinted seafood; it's incredible!
Brunette was the crown jewel of our journey upstate! Coming from NYC, we were elated to find this delicious natural wine bar. The Georgian orange varieties were delicious and the cold noodles were really sensational. Every detail was thoughtful. A must if you're in the area.
This place is really a way. From the beautiful setting to the eclectic wine menu, Brunette offers a unique culinary experience, incomparable to everything in the area.
Friendly staff and a nice selection of wines I had not yet. Very nice experience overall.
The cold noodles were some of the best I've ever had. Incredible little spot.
