Yellow River Restaurant - Kingston

Tried Yellow River for the first time tonight. Ordered the general Tao chicken with fried rice, and another order of sweet and sour chicken balls with rice. Very delicious. Definitely trying again! Well done.

Authentic Cantonese food, toddler and baby friendly place to dine in. The cook was very flexible in modifying the dishes to suits our preferences. Definitely will go back again.

Try to find a Chinese restaurant in Kingston that is open for dine in! Since covid arrived, we've struggled to find a dine in as we don't live in Kingston. Today we found Yellow River. Chicken fried rice, General Tao and Singapore noodles were ordered. All were good, not great, but good and lots of food. It's sad to say but we had to pay before receiving our food because of so many dine and dashes. Jerry helped the owner/cook and he was very attentive and friendly. Nice guy and he keeps the place spotless. Give it a try, it's not in the best location on Princess St but worth a lunch anyway.

Dated decor but clean and well maintained.Service was friendly, pay first even when dining in.Good food, flat noodle beef was very good, done HK style.

It's open late on a Sunday. Steady stream of people getting takeout. It's clean. Fast service. Friendly. Excellent food! Had the chicken low mien.
