Website said they are open and they even list all their products. We were in Kingston from Toronto and so excited to get some nut free bakery items. The door was open so we walked in and we didn’t see any bakery items. A very...grumpy lady comes to the front and I ask if they have any items and she said no. It’s all pre order. When I knew we were going to be in Canada for my son's 16th birthday I wanted to find a bakery in order to have a cake for his big day. Searching the internet I came across SAFARI CAKE BOUTIQUE!!! First let me say the website is great, easy to maneuver, great descriptions of the menu....flavors, prices, hours, etc. The cake we chose was, Strawberry shortcake with fresh strawberries and fresh whip cream. They were extremely accommodating making a special monogramming on the cake and even altering the normal size of the cake making us a smaller version... due to traveling we didn't have proper storage for left overs. The cake was a soft, heavenly short cake filled with fresh strawberry filling. The strawberries were lightly marinated in their natural juices and sugar not the typical thick strawberry glaze most places use. The fresh whipped cream topping was the icing on the cake ...no pun. Light fresh whipped cream filled each layer and a generous amount decorated the outside in a beautiful pattern. I highly recommend Safari for any occasion you will not be disappointed.

They were tasty, well priced, nut free and easy to order and pick up for my daughter's birthday. Definitely a Kingston Gem!
