Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant received mixed reviews from customers. One customer was disappointed with the food, finding the fish tacos and seafood poutine lacking in flavor and quality. Another guest commented on the high prices but appreciated the warm welcome. However, not all guests were able to enjoy a meal due to poor communication about kitchen capacity. On a positive note, the fish chowder was highlighted as exceptional, with perfectly balanced flavors and chunks of whitefish and potatoes. The service was also praised for being friendly and helpful. Overall, Dianne's in Kingston seems to offer a range of dishes with varying quality, making it a suitable option for those looking for a special dining experience in the area.
This is actually a 7/10 for me. We arrived at 4pm in the afternoon looking for a late lunch, early supper. The restaurant was probably 1/3 full but the...
This is unfortunately a zero-star rating, only because 'zero ' is yet to be an option on Yelp. This was my first trip to Dianne 's. The prices are on the...
Great lunch spot in downtown Kingston. Menu is simple but has lots of options. Service is good and food comes out fast. Fish and chips were yummy- haddock...
Probably the best fish chowder I have ever eaten. Perfectly balanced flavors with chunks of whitefish and potatoes. The menu states bacon is an ingredient, however I neither saw nor tasted bacon. Perfect consistency, not too runny and not thick. Can you tell I enjoyed my cup???Go eat the chowder..you won't be disappointed.
We went for a friend's birthday and we were lucky to go on the last day of an appetizer special. We were lucky to try the calamari, cholua fried smoked chicken thighs, pet muscles, and tequila shrimp appetizers. My favorite was the calamari and the shrimp. The prices are a bit high for appetizers, but with the discount it worked out. Because of the cost, this would be more of a special eating out experience for me, but it is definitely a great restaurant.
