O'charley's Restaurant Bar - Kingsport

I don’t intend to return to this restaurant. I felt uncomfortable voicing my concerns again, as it seemed like doing so would only lead to negative repercussions for my initial complaint. My husband ordered the same salmon and loaded baked potato, and his dishes were cooked perfectly, which made my experience all the more frustrating.

We also had to remind the server about our appetizer, which I think she may have forgotten. All four of us ordered the chicken tender dinner; three of us opted for double fries, while the fourth was supposed to get fries and mac and cheese but ended up without the mac and cheese. Although the server offered to bring the mac and cheese afterward, we declined because we didn’t want to wait any longer. This all seemed to stem from her lack of attention to detail.

Even though my online order didn’t reach the restaurant, I only found out about it when I arrived. Thankfully, the waitress who took my takeout order was incredibly friendly. She sincerely apologized for the mistake and quickly worked to fix the problem. Even though I ended up returning to the hospital too late to go through the front doors, I was still able to deliver my mom’s food to her, which was my main goal. She was really pleased with her meal.

I ordered the two pork chops accompanied by mashed potatoes and broccoli, and the food was cooked to perfection. The waiter was friendly and attentive. Overall, it's a fantastic place to dine!

The standout aspect of my visit was my server, Todd, who delivered outstanding service. I sincerely hope he finds a role at a better restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The potato soup tasted primarily of low-grade cheese and lacked depth; the coleslaw was nearly frozen; and the spinach dip was bland and cheesy. My salad was doused in way too much dressing, although Todd kindly offered to bring me a new one. Overall, the food felt lackluster and poorly prepared.
