It was recommended by some friends and it was great. I got a whole pie to go and it was great too. I had shredded chicken over biscuits and gravy with mashed potatoes and carrots. View all feedback.
What Carla Izzo doesn't like about Bingham's:
Meh. Came here on a recommendation from others but can't say it's worth it. Food was on par with a school cafeteria. You could taste the Grill On (absolute cheap stuff) they used to toast my sandwich. Food was greasy and caused massive GI problems later. Pies and bread we got to go were great. Maybe I'd go here for a pie and then get food from a gas station. It'd be better quality. View all feedback.
Really great fresh home style prepared food at very affordable prices. I deliberately take this route to New York City to eat here. Every time I do, I sit at the counter, as I am typically traveling alone. Every time I have to wait an inordinate amount of time to be served. I am always here between 3pm and 5pm not a busy time. There always seems to be plenty of staff, though they are not focused on serving. Perhaps, they are exhausted from an earlier busy period. The pot roast is highly recommended and the baked goods look great! PS the place is immaculately clean, including the restrooms.
Was there recently for a birthday lunch. I had the salad with shrimp on top to save room for the Homemade Pies like your grandmother would make! I ended up taking half my salad and the pies home to enjoy later. The portions are hearty.
Always a stop when my family is traveling south on 81. The food is very good and the homemade breads are fabulous.

Open face Roast beef was tasty and tender. Coconut cream pie for dessert!
