The food was tasty and the staff was friendly. This local restaurant is very popular and has been around for as long as I can remember. They serve generous portions, so we always leave feeling satisfied. It's a great value for the price.

This restaurant is always bustling, and for good reason - it's one of the best places in Kingsland to spend your money. The staff is friendly and the food is exceptional. When my mother came into town, this was the first place that came to mind to take her. She ordered the Shirley Special, and I think it really impressed her.

I got the chicken parmigiana hoagie and my husband had the meatball parmigiana hoagie. The bread wasn't semolina, so it was a bit doughy. Rather than a cutlet lightly covered in breadcrumbs, and pan-fried, the chicken was a battered and southern-fried slab bathed in a marinara sauce that was thick, but a bit too sweet. The cheese didn't stretch like melted mozzarella usually does, but slid off in large globs instead. Hubby said the meatballs were good. We liked the atmosphere seemed like everyone knew everyone else and it was ok for the price.
