Contribute FeedbackYummy House is a takeout-only restaurant that accepts cash only and currently does not offer delivery services. They are competing with the well-established Cafe Asia at the city center, but after communicating our dietary needs to Cafe Asia and receiving mixed noodles, we decided to stick with the equally delicious Yummy House. Yummy House makes an effort to cater to vegans, although their menu can be a bit confusing with meat substitutes labeled as vegetarian duck or fangs. When I requested roasted rice instead of fried rice, they immediately asked if we were vegan. We enjoyed several meat substitute dishes, with the tofu option being a favorite. My only criticism is that when we ordered fried rice without egg for a second time, it was definitely included in the order. This was a minor issue and when we called to address it, the staff seemed certain that there was no egg in the dish. We were positive that there was. I believe it was a mistake in the kitchen, perhaps a separate pan not being used or cleaned properly in between orders. It was not ideal, and although we did not reorder the rice, it was a mishap that should be corrected.
Yummy House is a takeout restaurant that only accepts cash and does not currently offer delivery. Located at the bottom of the city, it competes with the long-established Cafe Asia. However, after Cafe Asia mistakenly provided us with mixed meat noodles that did not meet our dietary needs, we decided to stick with the equally delicious Yummy House. The only issue we encountered was when we ordered fried rice without egg for the second time and found that there was egg in it. Despite the assurance from the person on the phone that it was egg-free, it seems like there may have been a mix-up in the kitchen. Overall, it was a minor inconvenience and we believe it was an honest mistake.
