McDonald's - KINGS MEADOWS

Quick stop off highway. Tends to be busy in morning, but still decently quick. Meets McDonald's expectations.

Whenever someone says McDonalds, people think about burgers and fries. Trust me their initiation of McCafes have really excelled McDonalds to a new level. Hazelnut latte from McDonald's is the best ! Tried it last month and since then I've been a devoted customer.

I wouldn't choose McDonalds to eat but there is a distinct lack of places to eat after 9pm in Launceston. It was standard fare but they had the 'build-your-own' option, which was incredibly popular. I always feel benevolent towards the staff at McDonald's because they're generally young people who are just starting out and gaining experience in their working career so as usual, the staff and service was great.

I was very disappointed when I walked in to the Knigsmeadows McDonalds this morning. Went in to get a hot chocolate and the coffee machine was disgusting, looked like it had not been cleaned for a week. Coffee all around the machine and bench. Ordered a weak extra hot chocolate and once again got to my car and it was luke warm. I think Macca's need some mature people working there to teach these young ones how to keep things clean and how to make things the right way. Next time I will take a photo and plaster it all over fb because I am over that place looking dirty and not getting what you ask for.

This store has much improved in recent times. They did drop the ball in tidiness and service but credit where credit is due they have certainly lifted their efforts. I am here at least three times a week maybe more either in the morning or evenings for coffee or take out. The staff are certainly more efficient and helpful with the facility a lot more presentable. Having said that, I would ask for the register docket going through the drive-in just in case of a mix up. That's one area where there's every chance of it being wrong but otherwise well done.
