This restaurant is a stunning spot in a picturesque location. While it was cold and gloomy outside, this place provided us with a warm bowl of soup—how could I not love it? Great tasting food and good prices. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Place in good location with inside and outside seats. Lunch for 2 with coffees, drinks and a starter was only £41. Worth visiting again.
Superb Sunday lunch of Roast Lamb, Yorkshire pud and vegetables washed down with a pint of Aspall draught cider. Seafood crumble too (not for dessert lol). Courteous service and lovely location by the river. Faultless !!
Super friendly and generous portions in a beautiful restored former museum alongside the river over 2 floors. Amazing views of the river with indoor and outdoor options. Call in advance to book as they get very busy. Tapas, vegan and plenty of meat and fish options. Specialist in seafood, try the seafood platter. Upstairs they still have some exhibits on display including miniature houses, which are lovely. Staff extremely good and helpful.
Tucked away on the quayside, a smashing place to eat and watch the sun go down. Really enjoyed our meal.
Nice setting, polite staff, very tasty food. A bit slow service for Sunday late lunch, even though we ordered from the day’s specials about 45 mins for the food to arrive), however the taste of the dishes was worth the wait.
