Comfortable, clean rooms, great food and friendly staff. For me as a business traveler, connectivity is essential therefore the quick, reliable and free WiFi was an added bonus. Would strongly recommend. View all feedback.
I have a holiday home nearby and have been wanting to visit Middleton Steakhouse and Grill with my family for some time as a special treat. I came across this restaurant when searching for steak options close to Kings Lynn. I made a reservation via email and received a prompt response. After driving around for over 20 minutes trying to locate the restaurant, we finally found it and realized it was actually The Bell. Despite the initial confusion and frustration of arriving with a new baby and 7-year-old, the food and service quickly made up for it. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic. The only small complaint was that the waiter couldn't provide much information about the lobster when we asked. However, we took a chance and were pleasantly surprised. We will definitely be returning now that we know where it is located.
This 13th century inn is a hidden gem. The food and service were fantastic. It was easy to locate and the staff were very helpful in guiding us.
My mother-in-law had a fantastic birthday lunch. The local asparagus was delicious. The service was excellent, friendly, and professional. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable on a rainy Monday afternoon.
Visited here on a Sunday evening by recommendation whilst staying the area for a few days. Firstly there were flies everywhere, very off putting making it very difficult to eat. The food was bland and dreadful, I had a beef goulash which, as well as a tiny portion, was baked for far too long and was hard and dry perhaps it had been microwaved? . Others meals were unseasoned and pastry on steak and ale pie was undercooked. In fairness, the one meal that tasted ok was my sons sirloin steak. When asked find we enjoy our meal I said no which was greeted with oh and the waitress walked away and didn't come back. Family on other table also complained of tough meat but by the looks on their faces left unhappy too. Perhaps we just visited on a bad day but really can't see what would warrant such high marks.
We have had several meals here. It is a nice quaint village pub and the food is very nice. I find the menu a bit boring if you go too often and I tend to have the same thing every time. Perhaps a nice pork dish in a creamy white wine sauce, lovely!!!! Having said that it is fine if you don't want anything too posh although a little pricey for a pub in general the food is good quality/
