What Paula F doesn't like about King Of Hearts:
Very disappointing, menus very basic but high prices. We had Sirloin steak and a good quarter was fat and gristle. 3 toms a few chips a bit if dry salad leaves. Not worth £16.95 View all feedback. What User likes about King Of Hearts:
on the search for somewhere to have Sunday dinner, as the hotel in which we lived did not. went on google maps and found this place and was more than happy. they only dare a Sunday, but I can see why, it was awesome! I don't usually go after a carousel, but if they're all like that, I'd be out every Sunday. the only thing that was disappointed is not local where I live, so can not go every week. read moreNestled into its refurbished setting, this pub's dining experience reveals a confusing dichotomy. While some guests rave about the delightful Sunday carvery—boasting generous portions, homemade Yorkshire puddings, and a comforting ambiance—others lament the disappointments of overcooked meats and bland vegetables. High prices paired with uninspired menus leave some patrons disheartened. Reports of poor service, lengthy waits, and unfriendly staff mar the potential of a promising establishment. Despite its warm décor and potential for charm, the pub must sharpen its focus on customer satisfaction and culinary quality to truly thrive in the competitive dining scene.
