When we booked the table we asked if they served prosecco which they did not, but they went out and purchased 3 bottles especially for our table. Ordered a takeaway got it home to find the order was wrong and one of the dishes was half the size of the other one (the same price though) when ringing them back they couldn’t be bothered to rectify it. View all feedback.
I visit Norfolk about five times a year to raise money for the air ambulance. This takeaway in Kings Lynn is the best by far and I won't go anywhere else. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. The staff is friendly. If you ever find yourself in Norfolk, be sure to give this place a try.
After visiting this restaurant and using the distance service several times, I am impressed by the experience we had last night. We booked a table for four adults and four children on the eve of the beginning of December and re-confirmed this on December 13th. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were told that there was no room for us and that they had never received a reservation. After speaking with the manager, they found a table for us, as there were no other reservations for the restaurant that night, so it was not an effort for them. From the start, we were made to feel uncomfortable and it was clear that they did not want us there. After waiting for 50 minutes for our drink order to be taken, they did not have lemonade and the cola was flat! We all ordered the buffet fork (£18 for adults, £9 for children). After ordering 4 dishes with rice for our main course, the waiter told us not to order as it would be charged separately! Even more disturbing was the cleanliness of the restaurant area. The sink in the bathroom had no cold water, only yellow, muddy water came out (yuck! The faucet) and it was so hot that I couldn't use it without burning my hands! But there was no way to wash our hands after using the toilet, so I had to use baby wipes to clean our hands, not ideal! Please NOTE THAT THE STAFF ALSO USE THIS WC! To top off our night, they charged us £51, which we didn't realize until we got home and had to go back for a refund. When we complained about the poor service and atmosphere, we were told to let our kids run around. Let me assure you that the children had not misbehaved and were not allowed to. There is no atmosphere here, so please do not expect it. The staff is unfriendly and if you have children, you may want to avoid this place as they are clearly not welcome. Happy New Year's Eve Amy's, thank you for ruining our night. For 2017, perhaps you should reconsider if you should continue being a restaurant or just use takeout service. That way, you don't have to deal with customers, clean your restaurant toilets, or worry about customers ordering more food than you want!
Wow, the first time we had food from here was absolutely amazing, that's all I can really say. My wife and I found Amy on tripadvisor and now it has become our go-to. The only regret is that we didn't find this gem earlier and we can't recommend this establishment enough. Fantastic variety and quality that I believe is unbeatable. We have told our friends and we won't go anywhere else.

It was a little bit slow and 1 dish was brought out as it was ready, would have been better to have kept them all hot in the kitchen and bring them all out together, as the first dishes were cold by the time we got the last.
