The Dog House - Kings Beach

The service is quite good, but the beer selection is limited. The menu offers typical bar food, and the overall food quality is average. The atmosphere is decent, but there are better dining options available.

We visited the bar for a late-night meal during the week and received a warm welcome, along with delicious food and beer. The kitchen stays open until 11 PM, which was convenient for us as tourists. They have a great selection of bar favorites, enhanced with some quality twists. The fries, in particular, were fantastic. The staff in the bar were very attentive, ensuring we felt welcomed and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this place!

The dining experience was fantastic; everything we ordered was delicious. The service was excellent, and our server was incredibly attentive! However, it's important to note that this is primarily a bar and has a strong bar atmosphere, rather than a traditional restaurant vibe. If that's what you're looking for, this is definitely the right spot. That said, sitting outside can be a bit concerning, as there are some questionable characters lingering nearby (some of the residents next door have an outdoor couch where they smoke and drink). Additionally, the loud guests can change the overall ambiance.

Everything was in order to eat. there was no taste overall. the drinks were strong. the atmosphere is beautiful when they look for many tvs. not terrible.

New York style hot dog was a big miss. Not worth the money at all. I got this and a vitamin water and it came up to shy of $15.
