Subway - Kingborough

Subway food is utterly predictable. That's not a bad thing as it is a great way for healthy takeaways for the family. We find the staff at this particular subway very friendly and helpful. Often nice that they smile and don't just go through the motions.

Great food though we tend to like the male servers who are faster and more precise than the girls. This is based on experience. We've tried most of the branches in the area and male servers are much better in their jobs! Thanks!

Ok so we all know subway right? Eat Fresh right? Well maybe not...So subway are well known for saying their food is fresh and so on and so forth, the interesting thing is, all their food is shipped in - I do not think they actually source anything locally.For example - their "poached" eggs are precooked, frozen and shipped from interstate. Once reheated they look suspiciously like hockey pucks. Their pre-grated carrot, cant say I have had fresh carrot that looks or tastes like that before. Their "chicken" fillets....exactly what are those things as they cant be real chicken.On a positive note - they do bake their own bread instore which is good (scared to think what goes in it though) and their prices are good value given you do get a substantial feed.Most times their staff are new (very high staff turnover) and bad at their jobs. 9/10 staff cant even cut the sub in half without either destroying it or not cutting it all the way through so you need to tear it yourself.Overall, subway is a brand with a lot of promise and success - unfortunately what was a fresh idea 10-15 years ago really does'nt cut it anymore.

Quite small but does the job. Staff was fine, the sandwich was fine, exactly what you expect from subway.

The same mediocre food as every Subway. With so many better options, why would you choose to eat this.
