Superstar Chinese Takeaway

Superstar is by far the best Chinese takeaway in Castle Douglas after having food from all of then.

I have the same thing off every chinese menu, chicken curry . In Castle Douglas it is best from here (considerably I might add) AND I get two meals from it too.

I just had a lovely meal from the Superstar Takeaway in Castle Douglas. Truthfully, I only came here because my regular was closed. However, I’ll be returning more often! I ordered the chicken fried rice, with a side of curry sauce. Id read some negative reviews regarding the curry sauce but wanted to try it for myself. It was excellent! Very spicy, but tasty, and one of the best curry’s I’ve had to be honest. With the meal I also got a handful of prawn crackers. Brilliant! The portion size was HUGE though. Enough to feed at least two people and I’m a guy with a huge appetite. Thanks again though!

Visited Superstar last night for the first time and received a very warm greeting. The menu is quite extensive and the premises clean, tidy and comfortable. My wife ordered a Spring Roll (s) which turned out to be amazing. They were huge, clearly freshly made and packed full. They tasted amazing. Our Peking Chicken Kung Po Chicken were both excellent. Portions were very generous and pricing was very reasonable. We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely visit again.

Food was great. Only complaint was the portion size.... 2 meals between 3 of us and none of us could Finnish what we got. Great value for money.
