Crown Hotel - King Scrub

I stop here often when on a motorcycle ride over Nebo, Glorious and mt mee. Situated nicely for a lunch stop. Usually get some sort of burger and chips meal which is always a substantial meal and ticks all the boxes for taste. Decent meals for the price, but with a bit more of something special this pub could do a roaring trade. I'll keep stopping here as long as the food tastes good.

We passed this pub last week coming from a day at the National forest and decided to come back to it for lunch this weekend. This morning I looked at some reviews on trip advisor and there were quite a few bad ones but we decided to go anyway and I'm so glad we did. Lovely place, food was good, people were nice and loved the view down the Main Street. I don't understand the bad reviews ?? We will be back again

Went there for lunch after a long absence. The standard of the meals was not as good as it was last time. No home made pies just standard pub food at a higher price. Sitting on the verandah is probably the only redeeming issue for this place as it is very pleasant to watch life go by in a quaint country town.

I' m not recommend the crown hotel dayboro to my friends. Crown hotel dayboro need to do something change such quality of food.

My partner and I ordered a cider and a beer. I'm not sure why that offended the bartender, but she angrily snatched my money and begrudgingly poured two drinks.. The poor thing.The food looked like garbage. We did not eat.You could cut the "you ain't from round here" tension with a knife.Failing a complete restaffing, perhaps they could consider hiring a banjo player for the front porch.
