My daughter, Granddaughter and I stopped by on a cool, rainy day needing a cuppa to warm up with. Pleasantly surprised to have a superior pot of tea (actual pot, not just a mug!!) and unique treats (we shared a Chai Tea Scone and a Lavender Shortbread Cookie). Perfect afternoon tea. What User doesn't like about Watercress Bistro:
Watercress Bistro has been a traditional spot for lunching ladies for over a decade. The menu hasn't changes much in that time, either. Not that that is a problem, except the old menu does not reflect what you're actually going to get on your plate. Excellent food, atmosphere, and friendly staff. Downtown area has a great historical feel. Would dine here again.
The food is fantastic, the coffee is great, and the service is wonderful. I have had many delicious lunches here and I also love their well-baked coffee. This place is the best!
The meal was fantastic and the service was excellent. I ordered the quiche along with a salted caramel latte. I am looking forward to returning soon.
