The King's Pearl Pub & Eatery

Worth the drive from Kincardine or Port Elgin. Food is always well prepared. Great selection of beverages. Nice patio space. Spent the afternoon then go to Inverhuron beach to watch the sunset.

We had friendly, efficient service, and a tasty lunch. Three of the five of us had the same thing; the pulled pork slider, soup & salad special, which was mostly delicious, and a lot to eat. The squash soup was a bit bland, but some added hot sauce improved the taste.

We went for a summer drive and stopped in Tiverton for lunch.We have been to the King's Pearl many years ago.We were surprised to see that there were only 2 tables occupied when we got there.Our server waited on us immediately and took our drink order.I had a Steam Whistle, my wife a club soda.We received our drinks right away. We ordered lunch, we both had the Tiverton Tzatziki sandwich, a chicken breast with tomato and lettuce on naan. I had it with fries, my wife with onion rings. Our food came out quickly and it was quite hot.Food was good, but that was the last time our server checked on us. We were never asked if we wanted another drink, any more food, any dessert or if we wanted the bill. Out server spent a 1/2 hour behind the bar without once checking on us.We had to ask for our bill. Normally we are very generous tippers when we get decent service. In this case we left no tip, if anything we felt like we should have received a refund for our time.It will be a very long time before we try King's Pearl again. We were very disappointed to be so ignored for so long with a very empty restaurant.

I had dinner here with a friend on the way home from work. I did not want to anything too heavy and had the cobb salad which was good.

Nice place to relax and have a beer or food after a long day, the staff are always friendly, the food is cooked fresh to order, the menu is limited but still has lots to choose from.
