The Rocks - Kimberling City

The food was excellent and the staff were fantastic. However, I wouldn't recommend the outdoor bar unless you're a local, as the local patrons were quite unfriendly. Additionally, there was a $10 cover charge while the band was playing, which didn't feel justified.

I hadn't visited when it was still The Rock, so I'm not sure how it compares. However, we really enjoyed our experience at Catfish Hole. They serve some house specialties before your meal, including coleslaw, hushpuppies, and pickle spears. We all ordered burgers, and they were quite good. It appeared to be one of the few places open on a Sunday afternoon, so our options were limited, but it turned out to be a great choice regardless.

The food was excellent. The staff appeared to be a bit understaffed, and while our waitress was trying her hardest, she delivered my niece's order incorrectly twice. She requested sweet tea but received unsweetened tea instead, and she ordered a chicken basket (tenders) with fries, but got chicken wings with a side of fries. Other than that, everything was delightful. The outdoor view is fantastic, especially in nice weather, and they do have live bands, although none played during our visit. We will definitely return.

Amazing food. I'm from Springfield but will definitely be visiting again soon! Really good, prompt service and the outdoor seating has an AMAZING view.

Great food. Off season they have smaller staff, but they are great. Might wait a lil longer service-wise
