The food was exceptional and I would highly recommend this place.

But I managed to get in a few pix of my cappuccino and my... read more This is my second time being here. Sorry I ate the lot and forgot to to snap some photos of meals lol. But I managed to get in a few pix of my cappuccino and my dessert sticky toffee pudding. This is a lovely, cosy warm place to sit. Plenty of seats, some cushions and sofa like seats. There are 2 big tvs in there too, so if you were wanting to watch football or rugby which was on when I was there, that might be good. But I was just there to enjoy time with bf, and I did. I had the gorgeous thick lentil soup for starters, bf had potato skins, I had Roast Beef for main and bf had steak pie with puff pastry and both had sticky toffee pudding for dessert. It came to about £55 for all that which is about same price as The Albany I think for a 3 course.

We both decided to get the... read more My spouse and I stopped by this restaurant on a Monday morning. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating upon our arrival. We both decided to get the Full Scottish Breakfast, along with a mocha and a fresh orange juice. The food was absolutely delicious, we couldn't find any faults with it. The portion sizes were generous, leaving us feeling comfortably full. Even though it was quiet due to it being a Monday morning, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. If we were in the area again, we would definitely return and highly recommend this place.

They were top quality and... read more Being from Glasgow, I was really impressed with the variety of cocktails the Greek gentleman behind the bar offered me and my friends. They were top quality and he went out of his way to accommodate us, something I would expect in Merchant City but not in a rural location. He did tell us that he had moved here but I won't insult him by misspelling his name. But a really special thanks to him for bringing a Mediterranean flair and making the atmosphere top quality for me and my pals. We'll definitely be back for a cocktail or two! We didn't eat so can't really give the food a fair review.
