I organised a small birthday for my son here. Dominika was prompt in replying to my emails. Deco was not over the top, but creative. Cheeseboard excellent quality. Lovely, colourful ice cream sundaes. So cosy, and staff were friendly and well organised. I went other times for lunch , and food is lovely...crepes , soup, home made. Pumpkin spice coffee or sangria if you want a treat , but also green detox juice. Good W... View all feedback.
What lazylizardz doesn't like about The West End House:
It was extremely hot and humid, so I sat outside. Carrot cake was very dry. Tea was good though. And the service was fantastic. Lovely staff. The location is odd because it feels like you'd be away from tours but just sitting outside for a short amount of time, I think I saw 4 tours go by. But I know it's hard to escape groups of tourists in Dublin. View all feedback.
My son found this on Google, so we stopped in on our way to DART station. Most of the family had the waffles, which were nicely sized and extremely tasty. I had the granola bowl, which had all fresh ingredients. The mix of flavors made for a great start in the morning. Breakfast had been a challenge all week, so I wish we had found this gem earlier in the week. Would definitely go again, and highly recommend.
For those with gluten intolerance or celiac disease, be warned that this cafe does not have any gluten-free options available. As a celiac myself, I was disappointed when I requested a gluten-free omelette and was told that the kitchen is too small to accommodate such requests. It is important for cafes in Dublin City to be able to cater to those with dietary restrictions, especially in this day and age. This is just a heads up for anyone who may need it before visiting. Despite this issue, the staff were friendly.
Place provide crepe and waffle, nothing special. Stuff friendly and price are ok. Located in normal area within city center

Would recommend on your own, with friends or family.
This is a real welcome addition in this part of town, small cosy with great food. Had the veg soup didn't look great but the taste was excellent. homemade brown bread very good. The Toastie was old school perfect. Reasonable prices and nice service. Wine licence if you feel like treating yourself, will be back
