I wanted to love it, but several things fell short for us. We had a reservation, but the reception at the door was as if we were imposing a large group with no warning.... reservation was made weeks ago. Service was somewhat spotty with several staff attending no consistency and some wait time. Bar manager seemed annoyed by our presence and our food allergy inquiries, and our musical requests to the band odd feeling really. The food was just so so. Very little flavor in the salmon, the tarter sauce, the fish etc.... Nothing special. Didn't feel welcomed. Sorry, just wasn't a great experience.

There were five of us at dinner and each of us had a different dish. We were all very satisfied. The atmosphere with the Irish music was also great.

No reservations we were seated right away on a Saturday after the Kerry/Donegal match. Kerry lost but the downtown was full of people. food was hot, arrived quickly and served by happy staff Bogdon)

We stopped into The Danny Mann Pub for a few drinks and had a really great experience. One thing we especially appreciated was that they’re genuinely dog friendly — not just allowing dogs outside, but actually welcoming them inside in a designated dog-friendly area. They even had a dog menu! It made such a difference and was perfect for us and our dogs. A special mention to our waitress, Sadbh, who was absolutely lovely. She was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. We'll definitely return next time we’re in Killarney.
