Description

In the quest for a satisfying vegan breakfast, this restaurant has emerged as a notable, albeit imperfect, option in Killarney. Diners found the vegan offerings inconsistent; while some enjoyed their meals, many noted bland flavors and the use of lackluster ingredients like overripe tomatoes and canned vegetables. Despite these drawbacks, the limited vegan selection in the area made it a go-to choice for some. A few diners appreciated the taste and portion sizes, though issues such as miscommunication about menu items and ingredient substitutions had a negative impact on the overall experience. An improved focus on freshness and flavor could enhance its appeal.

Had a nice delicious Avacado breakfast. few other Veggie options. gluten-free brot also

Had an amazing vegan breakfast here today. great atmosphere and beautiful staff, it would really recommend

The vegan option at this restaurant was very dull and unexciting. The ingredients used, like old tomatoes and unripe avocado, lacked freshness and flavor. Even the spinach was not well-prepared. It was disappointing to find that this was the only vegan breakfast option available in Killarney.

We visited the restaurant and ordered the two dishes that were identified as vegan. However, I am uncertain if the vol au vent was actually vegan, especially after reading other reviews here. The vegan breakfast was decent, but not particularly outstanding and could have been improved.

While visiting Killarney, we decided to embark on the popular tourist activity of walking through the Gap of Dunloe. To catch the bus at 9am, we stopped by Mug Bean to grab a quick coffee to go. Unfortunately, we ended up waiting in line for ten minutes behind three other parties. Even when it was our turn, the staff engaged in a conversation with another customer instead of taking our order. Frustrated by the slow service, we ultimately left without our coffee to catch the bus on time. Additional charges for syrup and alternative milk options were noted. It's worth mentioning that Killarney participates in a commendable project of using no one-way cups, but the inconvenience of having to carry the cup throughout the entire walk and potentially a boat trip back for disposal may be impractical for some visitors.
