Waiting for ice cream means to wait till a slow young girl fries all beaver tails ordered before you. 4. No umbrellas to safe you from the direct ???? whileyou wait even though the tables had the holes. We gave up and asked for money back. Come on Killaloe! ..more like Beavertailhas died there. We noticed it was quite busy,... read more With the whole hype that the stand is considered the ?birthplace of the Beavertails?, it was rather a very unpleasant experience. We noticed it was quite busy, but the two workers did not even acknowledge the people in line. My husband andfriends stood in line for a good 15-20 minutes with a few people behind us. The only time the lady spoke was when our dogsbarked and asked us to move the dogs behind a sign they had by the garbage. We ended up leaving as the line did not move. Onlylater to find out from a previous review that a lady had written, that we actually had to order from the ice cream stand nextdoor. I believe the lady that wrote the review was just behind us in line. How were we supposed to know where to order? Wefigured it was at the Beavertails stand?.No signs, no nothing. The workers couldn?t even inform us that we would need to ordernext door. We waited in line for absolute no reason. The lady working there definitely does not seem too happy to be there. Veryunfortunate!

T... read more WOW WOW WOW the Beaver Tails are to die for well worth the stop just for these., hubby and I both had the Killaloe Sunrise Beaver Tail, absolutely to die for. They also serve poutine, burgers, chicken fingers. I had the Onion and Bacon Poutine,...Hubby had the reg Poutine......they are loaded and the portions are very very generous. Since we have a trailer just down the road on Golden Lake we will definitely be returning. If you are driving past its well worth the 2 min detour off hwy 60. Absolutely Amazing!!!!!!

Excellent fries to accompany my superb jalapeño cheese burger (the owner said “best in the valley” but actually his claim could have referred to a far broader geography). The...Beavertail we had with sugar and lemon like a squished doughnut crossed with a pretzel and it was delicious. The family owner operators were extremely friendly and courteous and there is seating alongside a pond by which you can eat. Well worth pulling off the Highway for.
