that was our place when I lived in kiloe. the personal was fantastic to dance on Wednesday was always really fun and everyone was so inviting. they could not hit the anker at the price on a pint guinness and the location is top! and then they have the outside seats when the weather is nice. best pub in the city as far as I'm concerned View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Anchor Inn:
26/7/17 Clean, pleasant, basic pub. Decent pint of Guinness but no food (in the afternoon anyway). There's a pool table. Darts on the TV... Pleasant café next door. Parking is tricky nearby, probably best to park across the river. I'll try the hotel next time!.

On the night i was there it was a birthday party great night and band was amazing
While camping in Killaloe for the weekend, we experienced heavy rain and were unable to secure a taxi back from the Anchor Inn. The bartender, Michael, kindly offered to drive us home, going above and beyond our expectations.
During my visit, they were hosting a birthday party, which made for a fantastic atmosphere. The band was incredible and really added to the experience.
A bar that could use some tender loving care, especially since it's located in a tourist area.
