This was definitely one of the best places I’ve ever been! I visited the area for the weekend and stumbled upon this restaurant while driving home. I’m really glad I decided to stop here because the food was fantastic! The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The staff was welcoming, polite, and incredibly sweet, making me feel right at home! I can't wait to come back and try this place again the next time I'm in town!
Delicious breakfast options, including the best gluten free french toast I've ever had! Depending on when you go you may have a short wait to get in but they keep the line moving and the food and service makes it well worth it. They have a variety oftoppings to try on the french toast/pancakes/waffles. I had the bananas and pecans and it was out of this world!
I wouldn't quite call it a diner, but it's definitely not an upscale breakfast spot either. It’s a classic American breakfast experience at its finest – seriously. Here’s how it works: you enter, grab a tray and some drinks, then check out the menu. You place your order at the register at the end of the line and find a seat. After that, it’s full service, so please do everyone a favor and tip generously at the cashier because the staff here is fantastic and attentive. The food portions were generous and the prices very reasonable. Our kids wanted chocolate chips and strawberries on their pancakes and waffles, and they definitely didn’t skimp on the toppings – there were large chunks of chocolate both inside and on top. I had the Monster Biscuit Sandwich, which was quite substantial, accompanied by perfectly seasoned hash on the side. We loved how quickly we were served, which is a huge plus for families with young children, and the staff was incredibly attentive. They even had a high chair and a coloring book ready for us before we sat down. I highly, highly recommend this place! Just a heads-up: you may spend more time waiting to order and eat than actually eating. We arrived before the breakfast rush and were able to order and eat right away, but the rest of our group came around 9:30 and had to wait an hour just to place their orders.
Wow! The food was incredibly tasty, and the service was top-notch! Every staff member was exceptionally friendly and went the extra mile to ensure we had a great experience. The woman at the register even modified our order to make it more budget-friendly, and our drinks were refilled before we could even finish half of them. As for the food? It felt just like home, but even better! I highly recommend this restaurant!
What an amazing breakfast! My wife and I decided to stop by on our way out of the Outer Banks, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The breakfast was both delicious and fulfilling. The staff was extremely friendly. And a special shoutout to our delightful waitress who brought us so much joy and laughter – I truly hope they stop playing "Lovely Day"!
