Lyrath Estate - Kilkenny

We were here on a Wednesday night and the moment we arrived, we knew we were for a contract. the receptionist kindly informed us that we had on an executive suite that is incredibly larger than my apartment quite literally haha. the room was absolutely amazing with the bathroom and double sink a special highlight for me. the raw are the most fluffy I ever had in a hotel and everything was just so comfortable and clean. we ate in tuppers bar and the food was excellent. my only grip was on two different occasions that we had to send our glasses back, as they were unfortunately dirty..much to the apologies of the staff that we then received clean glasses. I also think that closer attention had been given to the conservatory, as it was totally overrun with flying, but I understand with unprecedented weather, that could be more difficult to control with the heat. the area is beautiful and the breakfast was fantastic with so much choice we were totally spoiled. I wish all guests could use the wellness area, but as without a treatment they must pay 25e pp to use the pool I think is a bit mean, but if I come back the next time I think I need to treat myself to get the full experience. a total of an absolutely beautiful stay, so close to kilkenny city a only 10 minutes drive I can not wait to return soon.

The afternoon was beautifully presented, but the brot on the biss sandwiches was a bit stale. political, friendly and prompt service.

Amazing place with stunning scenery... Food and cocktails at the Grill were perfect and the breakfast was everything you could want. The location is peaceful and beautiful to walk around. Staff here are happy to help and go the extra mile. Would highly recommend!

I had one of the nicest meals ever in the Bar Grill restaurant last night

We stayed 2 nights. The first evening I went to the Spa and the therapist Rachel was super professional and efficient when I got a full wax treatment. I thought that the lights should be a be brighter or if there was an extra light for Rachel to get rid of any unwanted start hairs. The only discomfort I felt was lying on my back at 37weeks pregnant. The second day I had a head to toe maternity treatment. I asked for the room temperature to be a bit cooler as the weather was warm. The therapist Jacinta used many products such as resilient body oil, cooling body bliss, hydra balance day cream, a gentle Rose exfoliated and a soothing apricot toner. The cooling of my feet felt amazing on my swollen, hot feet. The whole experience was relaxing and I didn't want it to end. I would Definitely book in advance as they are always busy not to be disappointed
