Good Asian cuisine for affordable price, good drinks and Asian beer, complication ice cream at the end of the metal of nicce and friendly staff.

Bit disappointed having food here. The Meat wasnt freshly cooked and tasted and smelled a bit funky without going to hard about the raw vegetables or lack of its a 3 star restaurant at best. I will revisit this restaurant once more and review it again for now its not good. Update Meat is not fresh but great staff nice experience 3.5 looks amazing tastes good plenty of veg but the meat is not fresh or else the quality of meat is low either or most veg cooked but some raw not a fan sorry

Recently visited Lana Kilkenny on an Instagram recommendation from @glutenfreeeatingoutirelandThe staff were friendly knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We had a coeliac in our group and she was delighted that she could have a chicken chow menu with rice noodles and also prawn crackers for the first time in a restaurant. We had roast duck and a teriyaki chicken. The food was very flavourful and the complimentary ice cream (also gf) went down a treat. €55 for 3 mains a beer and a soft drink very resonable. Would highly recommend lana. We will be back or to a closer branch as soon as possible.

This place is pleasant but not the place to go if you want the things I usually want when enjoying Asian cuisine. What do I want? Fresh ingredients and authentic food. The food was acceptable particularly when taking into account the price points. But everything was from jars etc. I asked for some extra chopped birds eye chill on the side and got what I wanted but it was from a jar. This applied to herbs and many other ingredients used in the cooking. The freshness was not there. But if you are on a budget, want a 60% true Asian feel and a quick fix then it’s alright. Good when you need Asian and can’t find anywhere else but not if you want any WOW factor. I’d only go back if I couldn’t find an alternative and had a yearning for Asian.
