We started with the... read more My partner and I ate here over the June Bank Holiday Weekend, and all I can say is that it was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. We started with the crab claws, which were so beautifully cooked and full of flavour. We struggled to choose our mains because we wanted to try everything, so my partner had the Sole and I had the duck, and we shared. Both meals were delicious and between the amazing food and beautiful wine we left there very satisfied. I cannot recommend this fabulous restaurant enough. I will certainly be back. We were delighted to meet the chef and pass on our thanks to him ourselves. Such a lovely talented man. Thank you for such a wonderful evening.

The duck was cooked to perfection beyond flavourful and delectable. Definitely on the top of my list of duck dishes. The portion sizes were perfect and we were not left in anyway hungry. dessert was just as delicious. I had the rhubarb posset which was flavourful and very light and creamy. My friend had the ginger pudding which I of course had to try and it was decadent. I was tempted to keep both to myself! The service was great and all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with recommendations. Definitely a restaurant I would recommend to all, and one I will be frequenting.
