Vaughan's - Kilfenora

After visiting the Cliffs of Moher on our way to Ballyvaughan, we took a detour to have a late lunch at this restaurant and we are thrilled that we did. To start, they serve Murphy's on tap, which is a personal favorite. For my main dish, I ordered the Beef and Guinness Stew, and it was easily one of the top 3 dishes I had during our entire trip in the country. The stew was excellently seasoned with a perfect blend of beef, carrots, and potatoes, served with a side of mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes. It was incredibly satisfying.

A great pub with a warm atmosphere and an excellent restaurant. Generous and delicious dishes. We tried it and returned during our short stay in Kilfenora. The Black Angus burger is good and the Massaman Thai curry is very well spiced, served with fragrant rice that reminded us of our trips to Asia!

My husband and I hosted our small wedding reception at Vaughan's, and we couldn't have been more pleased! Mark was extremely accommodating, and everything went perfectly. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the food was exceptional. Our guests couldn't stop praising the food, the ambiance, and the service. We are both eagerly looking forward to returning to Vaughan's in the future!

On our way back from the cliffs, we stumbled upon this gem, and I highly recommend taking a trip to the past here. The food is outstanding, and the pub has a charming character. The owner is incredibly friendly! Definitely a place you shouldn't miss.

We happened to stop by after visiting the cliffs and we don’t regret it at all. It's a classic pub with warm beer and delicious fish and chips. The staff were really friendly. We will definitely be returning!
