Contribute FeedbackThe Rye River Café in Kilcock offers a trendy ambiance and delicious food, but some customers have criticized the aggressive and condescending treatment from staff. However, others praise the friendly service and tasty dishes, especially highlighting the extensive menu and dog-friendly policy. With a beautiful interior and affordable prices, the café has become a popular stop for many travelers en route to the west coast. Overall, the café seems to have a mixed reputation, with some patrons raving about the experience while others were left feeling uncomfortable or disappointed.
I met a friend today for lunch and had the most delicious lunch in the rye river cafe. there were 3 different menus between breakfast brunch, burger and salates and sandwiches. I chose the caesar salad package with chips and was not disappointed, it was very delicious. the caffe was almost full when we arrived, but we could get the last table for 2. it looked like it had recently been renovated with beautiful decor and was very clean. there is a beautiful outdoor area with swing chairs that add to the character of the place. the service was fast and efficient and we had no problems with our order. my friend needed a gluten-free lunch and all her requests were received with ease. the food was cheap and I will definitely return and imagine this wonderful little place for many in the future.

My grand daughter treated me to my birthday lunch in the Rye River Cafe and I have to say the menu was excellent offering delicious breakfast, brunch and lunch options.. We both enjoyed and excellent lunch. We ordered The Rye River Burger with a choice of toppings accompanied by chunky chips.. The coffee was really nice too. The service was very good, prompt and the staff were friendly and welcoming. It was thoroughly enjoyable. I already look forward to my return visit, and will recommend it to my friends. Frances
