We had the nicest and kindest waitress serve us. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. Throughly enjoyed my experience. Ambiance is amazing as well as the outdoor seating. View all feedback.
What Ann P doesn't like about Paia Bay Coffee:
We left there in disgust ln Halloween night at 8 pm. The music was booming and deafening after two guys started playing using enhanced music with deafening base. We and several other patrons moved up towards the tables along tthe street side. One couple had to text each other to communicate. My ears are still ringing after 15 minutes of being exposed to that. I am hard of hearing, so I can not help thinking of what i... View all feedback.
Coconut latte was bomb- would drink every day if I could. We did kimchi fried rice for breakfast and added an egg so we wouldn't have to fight over it.
**Dining Experience Overview:** - **Meal Type:** Lunch - **Price Range:** $1–10 - **Service Rating:** 3/5 - **Atmosphere Rating:** 4/5 **Review:** I had lunch at this restaurant and overall, it was a decent experience. The cost was quite budget-friendly, with meals priced between $1 and $10. The atmosphere was enjoyable, earning a solid 4 out of 5 for its ambiance. However, I felt the service could use some improvement, as I would rate it a 3 out of 5. While not perfect, it’s a good spot for a quick and affordable meal.
The food is overpriced and over-salted. Coffees and teas are great. Service is slow. Beautiful decor and atmosphere. The owner is pretty cool. I personally liked the other location more. There's no more simple food. It's all trying to make a statement- a salty statement. It's annoying when someone charges that much for food and you find out they are actually charging for the salt by the pound. Parking: If you drive one building up from the location, on the right hand side you'll find a parking lot. Street parking is hit-or-miss.
We had lunch here this week, and we're so glad we decided to stop by. The shrimp ceviche was fantastic! I'm planning to try to recreate it at home. The service was excellent, and we truly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The mocktails were also excellent!
We left the restaurant feeling frustrated on Halloween night around 8 PM. The music was extremely loud and overwhelming, especially after two musicians started playing with amplified sound and heavy bass. Several other patrons and I decided to move towards the tables by the street to escape the noise. One couple even had to text each other just to communicate. My ears are still ringing from just 15 minutes of that volume. As someone who is hard of hearing, I can't help but wonder how it affected others. I also ended up hoarse from having to shout to be heard by my friends. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the food since we left after canceling our order.
