Fat Daddys Smokehouse - Kīhei

We thought here was a quick dinner on the way back from the beach. Service was fast and friendly, and we have our food a few minutes after ordering at the counter. The family plate was great for our group of 7, many different meat options and a few pages (and we added extra trufflemac cheese). Standouts were the smoked chicken and cornbread. We'd be back next time!

We had ribs, brisket and chicken. The chicken was the best by far. Parking is difficult as any other place in Maui.

I don't understand any negative reviews for this facility. We'll come here the last three summers when we come to Maui and the food is ALWAYS skrumbling. And the guy who takes our order is always so nice and friendly and helpful! We're from Texas, so we know good Bbq. And that's the best. On this occasion we had chicken, brisket, ribs, burned ends, potato salad, Cole Slav and the fabulous grain bread. And the portions are more than enough. We always buy extra to take with us. Thanks Fat Daddys for another 5-star lunch/dinner. It was amazing as always!!!

Absolutely phenomenal. My husband I both agreed was the best smoker we ever had. We had the ribbed plate w/cornbread garlic chili the 1/2 chicken plate w/truffle Mac garden salad. Great prices, super service excellent food. Everything on our plate was well cooked and deliciously seasoned.

Jeez I wish I had photos, sorry guys. This place was fantastic. Nice and cozy inside and out, my boyfriend and I were chatting up with an extremely nice guy named Chris, I thought he was a regular who was just waiting for his food to go, but he was a part of the team there tonight. He recommended great stuff and we were not disappointed. It was hard to choose what to pick because everything sounded good, including the sides. I was a little wary of the sides being on the weak side but oh man, everything tasted fantastic and the portions were enough to make you want to curl up in a blissful ball and take a nice nap after eating. The burnt ends, fantastic. Ribs, fantastic. Mac and cheese, cornbread, truffle mac and cheese, fantastic fantastic fantastic. We can't wait to go back to try other things on the menu. I got my eye on chicken, brisket, slaw and more cornbread for the near future. Even on the way out, Chris was there to say some kind words to our family before we left. My only regret was I had to drive home while everyone else got to kick back and relax the whole ride. I have a new go-to in Kihei now :
