So if you want to enjoy something, you can go well to jack’s. eating is delicious, is offered to fair trips and the services are consistently very nice. Unfortunately, it is already a bit difficult to get the drinks quickly on the table or even pick up the order. it's about critique. the location is easy to reach with busses and if they are at university, they are practically there.

We appr... read more Unfortunately, it was disappointing, as we had to leave the restaurant without eating. On July 10th, we arrived at the restaurant shortly after 8:30 pm. We approached a waitress and asked if we could choose a table for two, as it wasn't very busy. We were greeted and registered warmly, and our request was politely confirmed. Meanwhile, the waitress went to get some food we had ordered from the kitchen and apologized for bringing us the menus. Another server was cleaning glasses and cutlery as if they were already closing time. However, the restaurant is open until 10 pm. We had been sitting for 10 minutes without anyone taking our order or coming to our table. Finally, the waitress arrived with the menus shortly before 9 pm. We looked around for food. About two or three minutes later, she came to take our order—but then told us that we unfortunately couldn't order anything else because the kitchen was closing. This was disappointing, and we had to find another restaurant. It would have been good if we had been informed upon arrival that we couldn't order any more food. As it was, we sat there for over 20 minutes completely wasted. To be honest, I find it rather poor that a restaurant with opening hours until 10 pm wouldn't be able to offer food to guests who arrived at 8:30 pm. While this is the owner's decision, it should be clearly communicated on the website, Instagram, or somewhere else as the kitchen's closing time. But it's nowhere to be found. The way they then let guests sit for 20 minutes, even though they've registered them and perhaps assume they only want to order drinks, instead of asking beforehand, is very disappointing. It's a shame, as I've always found the service to be very good and wanted to eat there again after a few years' absence, especially since the vegan options have expanded.

You can immediately tell that the staff enjoy their work. The food is delicious, the service is top-notch
