This is a great place for breakfast. You can choose between different dishes to eat with the different types of bread. Everything is delicious and served in an original way. This breakfast is much better than what you get in most breakfast buffet... in hotels. I wish we had a Gunther's grandson in Bruges! View all feedback.
What Viktoria Burkhardt doesn't like about Guenthers enkel:
Quite nice food in this recently opened bakery-cafe where you can get soupes and other small dishes. We liked the food, but the whole concept is based on self-service and the service is reduced to the staff at the counter where you order. All in...all we would prefer an ancient style Café which is more old fashioned and cosy, even if there was nothern to complain about the food. View all feedback.
Had a quick-stop from our cruise trip in Kiel. We decided to stop by this cafe for a caramel latte a cake. It was nice, good atmosphere, but i think the staff could be a little more friendly especially to tourists
In the small bakery /café you can get a delicious breakfast. you choose the ingredients from prepared peels yourself. also the rolls and the hot drink you can choose freely. fresh water is always available. the caffe is very modern, bright and cozy...setting. for the strengthening before shopping tour or for the small purse I can recommend günthers enkel very much. in the small backery/Café, you can get a typical, tasty german breakfast. you can choose your ingredients out of a selection of prepared bowls. buns and hot drink are free to choose, too. fresh drinking water is always to desposal. the café has a bright, modern and comfy interior. it’s great for stricthing before a shopping-tour or for people with a smaller budget. i would recommend günthers grandson.
This is a popular, fresh and clean looking café in the Kiel shopping district with friendly staff. They have a special breakfast system where for a set price you get to choose options from a selection (for two people and selections for one...person). Plus a coffee and juice each. The food was good and fresh however the portion sizes are really small so I wouldn't recommend it if you have a big appetite- you will be sorely disappointed , but if you're on a diet then this is a guilt free breakfast option with plenty of healthy options. They offer a flat white on their coffee menu, which I was super excited about as I come from New Zealand home of flat white coffee. Unfortunately what I got was something like an espresso and nothing like a flat white. So if there are any Aussies or Kiwis that read this- don't order the flat white, you will be disappointed.
It looks like a bakery but it's more than that. It's a self service with fresh bred based products . The place is open and nice the only problem being to find a free table. There is a great quiet room with a large table...in the back. Prices are really acceptables.
