My absolute favorite for Rheingau-Riesling. Ralph Schuth is an extraordinary grain of his subject. I don't know another winemaker who brings the geological peculiarities of the individual vineyards to fruition. He also convinces with Spätburgunder as a red wine with incredible density and as a fruity rosé.

Not easy to find, not easy to park, but when you get there it´s an amazing place with a view of an old mansion and castle ruins on the hill. Service is fast and friendly, the wines of theirs are well renowned in the region and the choice of food very good.
