On our way to Chandor, we saw lot of posters of Flames and so decided to stop by for lunch.The place is on the main road and easy enough to spot. This place has very eye catching decor with bright colors and witty wall posters that will light up your face with a smile. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. This is a family run restaurant and the owner takes personal interest in your order. He is also very happy to tell you about the local history or nearby places that you could visit. The food was palatable but not great. He did not have much by way of wine choice; we chose a Indian rose which was really overpriced, at least 40% over its MRP. The paneer we ordered was stale; the owner however profusely apologized and did not charge for it!!If looking the crystal, chine ware and silver cutlery in the bungalows of Chandor has made you very hungry, you could stop here for quick bite. However, do not be have over expectation misled by numerous advertisements about this place en route

Flames high food standards compliment the 60s and 70s influenced yet contemporary décor the restaurant offers. We where meet with polite service from Manuel the waiter and their fish are spicy and delicious and is definitely affordable.

We came here after we visited the Braganza houses and it was a mistake. the whole place was untidy and could have done with a clean one. the toilets were a scan... read more We came here after we visited the Braganza houses and it was a mistake. the whole place was untidy and could have done with a clean one. the toilets were a scandal, but they go through the kitchen on the way to them. the kitchen. the door was open and you could see how eating on the floor was stacked and everything was open, whatever was going on. our drinks came in glasses that could have done with a clean one too, so we decided not to eat there and go hungry. the loud music was too overwhelming, and it took time to serve.

This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and an ideal spot for a gathering with family or friends.
