Dosa Plaza - Khopoli

Ordered a masala dosa and a misal pav enroute to Pune. The dosa was OK but the misal was completely steeped in cooking oil inedible since I didn't want to take a risk of falling sick when driving on the high speed expressway

We stopped here for our second break on this highway to have Dosa ...with filter coffee Good taste, quick service...reasonably priced... :

Dosa Plaza is situated in the Popular Food Court just after the Khalapur Toll Plaza when traveling from Mumbai to Pune on the Expressway. The Food Court is spacious with several dining options, a large 24x7 HP Company Owned Petrol Pump nearby, along with clean parking area and toilets. Dosa Plaza is a preferred dining spot with comfortable seating and freshly prepared, tasty dishes. It operates on a pre-paid self-service system where you purchase coupons at the counter and then collect your food items yourself. It's a convenient stop for a quick break or for enjoying a vegetarian South Indian breakfast, snacks, or light meal while traveling between Mumbai and Pune on the Expressway.

I love south indian food so i opted this from other places in 'fast track' at Pune expressway. But i was very much disappointed to see the quality of the food. The idles as well as vada was far from good. Taste of Rasam was good.The service boys were not interested. I asked for urgent water due to cuffing.. they took long time to respond and then there was no arrangement...the water cooler machine wasn't having water and they just tries in vein to get me water. No tissues were given...on asking they took out and given from inside. very very poor service and food quality.

Dosa Plaza is a very popular café located at the Food Court on the Mumbai Pune Expressway. It is a great place to stop at for Breakfast or Snacks while driving from Mumbai to Pune on the Expressway. As soon as you pay the Toll at the Khalapur Toll Plaza, it is just about 1 km away & is well sign posted. You will see it as soon as you enter the Food Court. Parking is available, although a bit crammed up at times due to the heavy rush. Toilets are also available at the Food Court. A Large HP Company Owned Petrol Pump is also located adjacent to the Food Court, where you can fill up your Vehicle's Fuel Tank.Dosa Plaza, as the name suggests offers all types of Dosas, Idli, Vada Sambar, Upma, Sheera, Batata Wada & various other Veg Snacks + Tea & Filter Coffee. All their items are freshly made and are tasty. The prices are also reasonable. There is adequate seating space as well, to make you comfortable. You need to pay first at the cash counter & then give the payment slips to the Service Counter from where you have to pick up your ordered items & take them yourself to your table to eat. A must stop enroute from Mumbai to Pune on the Expressway.
