De Delhi Restaurant Al Khobar

Okay so the restaurant ambience is very well made and the seating for 9 people was done without any hassle. The only reason I've given them 4 stars is because of the wait over here. It takes minimum of 40 minutes for them to serve you your dishes. So be prepared for the wait. The food however was totally worth the wait. It is delicious and prepared really well. We ordered the special kebab platter which came in with Chicken Tikka, Malai Tikka, Lamb chops, Tandoori chicken and Mutton Kabab. Also ordered the Zayekedaar murg which was again really creamy and well made. Got bread basket for mixed Nan and it was sufficient enough. The only tip I can give you here is to order a little earlier or before your visit else you'll have to wait for your meal which will be worth it.

My most recent visit on 01 Jul 2023 to your place was not very satisfying. The quantity and taste in kebab Platter is dropping fast. This is a hidden gem in Khobar. Better than many other overpriced fake Indian Restaurants. Tandoori Kebabs platter was wonderful. The Kandhari Kebab used to be delicious earlier now needs improvement Sameer is excellent and serves with respect and care Don't miss this if you are a real Indian Foodi

The taste was okayish but the service was terrible. The staff wasn't prompt enough. Not worth it . Only the ambience was good.

Always end up having a good experience here. We usually take the Grill platter along with some curry and naan basket. I have also tried fried rice here which is also good. The half kg grill platter comes with different types of chicken kebab and are always cooked to perfection. If you are a party of 6 people, then go for the special platter which includes mutton kebabs too. The different types of naan are delicious For a family dinner, you can never go wrong with the naan basket. They make them fresh and absolutely soft. My favorite is butter naan but others are also good. Seasame naan is a must try. Mutton Rogan Gosht and Bhuna gosht are our absolute favorites curry here. It is served warm and spices taste good. Meat is well cooked. We also tried the daal tadka and it was ok. Indo chinese dishes are also offerred here like noodles, fried rice, etc. We tried fried rice and noodles here which were good. Juices are also offered here. We never got to order fresh juices as we usually order soft drinks. But hopefully give it a try in my next visit. Service is good and promt. Waiters are friendly and helpful. Cleanliness is maintained. Washrooms are clean. It can be a bit busy on weekends so plan ahead. The dining area is good for family with enough privacy in booths. My suggesstion to management, please add mutton kebabs on half grill platter. Guests should be aware that parking on main road is paid parking and come prepared.

Really liked it all. I only tried a Butter Chicken Masala and a sweet Orange Lassi drink. Yet, they both met and even exceeded my expectations. The masala: The chicken, the sauce, the colors, and the aroma, are all exactly how you imagine the rich, colorful, and flavourful Indian cuisine. Somehow the Masala was apparently cooked without oil (or butter! and the texture was still on point. The lassi: Sweet and tangy. Midway I even forgot it was orange and thought it was mango. Thick, smooth, and satisfyingly coherent. Although a little too sweet for my taste, it was awesome nevertheless. The service was great, although Rasil could be warmer and more enthusiastic. He is a good guy, still. The atmoshpere is above average for the area, but otherwise average. Can't see anything wrong about it, though. The chairs were comfy. Overall, the food takes the whole experience to 5/5.
