Bac-a-sable - Khao Thong

Beautiful spot for an afternoon on the beach and even more so for a romantic French dinner with seafood and wine.The way up there is narrow for a big car but certainly worth the adventure.

A visit to the restaurant in this resort was one of the highlights of our trip to Thailand. We were exploring the Tha Lane area and stumbled across this resort and decided to head there for dinner. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, but this was in itself over-shadowed by the exceptional atmosphere and reception that we received from the staff. As our food arrived, our six month old son decided that he also wanted his dinner. Within seconds of noticing that we were trying to feed our baby and eat at the same time one of the waitresses rushed over and offered to feed him his bottle for us. He was whisked away to be doted on by all of the staff in the kitchen whilst never being out of our sight. After our eldest son had spent some time playing with other children in the restaurant he was taken away by the owner to look for hermit crabs on the beach. I have rarely felt more welcomed or relaxed anywhere.

Avec mon fils de 6 ans nous y avons déjeuner presque tous les midis lors de notre dernier voyage dans la baie de Tha Len, très bons plats traditionnels, un régal à chaque fois, mon fils à particulièrement aimé mangé avec les pieds dans le sable, pouvoir aller se baigner rapidement entre 2 plats ... nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous, merci à toute l'équipe
