This place has something for everyone! Delivers for those who need a quick bite. Coffee bar for caffeine mix and cold costard. We had the milkshakes and coffee options on our way to the Hemingway Museum. If you do the same, make sure to get a size, you can finish on the walk as it is not allowed in the museum. I used to love going to this place to get me a Reuben sandwich and the ginger ale. I'd sit outside and listen to the band's play from the green parrot. But unfortunately there are these mentally disabled homeless people who sit on this bench all day and all night. Harassing and eating assaulting customers like myself. Wonderful sandwiches, great frozen custard and kind hospitality, very pleased we stumbled into this corner deli!
I stopped in because I was intrigued by their sign outside advertising “penguin tracks” ice cream. So glad I decided to see what that was because it might possibly have been the best ice cream I’ve ever had!
This review is focused on their Sandwiches. Holy banana, they are delicious!!! We tried the Cuban Mix sandwich and the turkey avocado and it honestly was not expected how good they were. At that point we were wondering and hungry and came across this place and it was awesome! I know they are known for their frozen custard, but don't sleep on their Sandwiches! So I just got done eating the caprese sandwich. Absolutely phenomenal. The tomato was fresh as can be, the basil combined with the balsamic glaze was out of this world, and the mozzarella?? I could eat handfuls of that on its own.Greeted with a smile, quick service, and excellent food. Can't recommend it enough!
