The other guests were friendly and tried to... read more Didn't know what to expect staying at a hostel for the first time, but I felt safe and comfortable the staying here. The other guests were friendly and tried to be quiet at night, and the staff was beyond friendly. Great property, management, location and loved that they have bike rentals! Plan to stay at NYAH for future key west trips!

We checked in no problem got a free botlle of wine. beds were comfortable. just a little of of the business but was quiet. pools were very nice. breakfast was a... read more We checked in no problem got a free botlle of wine. beds were comfortable. just a little of of the business but was quiet. pools were very nice. breakfast was average but free. bikes for rent we didnt use but got a golf cart( very good way to travel parking is a bit of a chore. overall rate high would stay there again.

Shower water flow is very low and air conditioner needes to be larger, barely gets to comfortable temp deep into the nigh and to lower humidity. Daytime is very... read more Shower water flow is very low and air conditioner needes to be larger, barely gets to comfortable temp deep into the nigh and to lower humidity. Daytime is very insufficient. A small ceiling fan would also help.

The room was dirty, top bunks weren’t... read more Booked this on Airbnb, nothing like they portrayed in the listing. It’s a bunch of multi unit houses with a front office. The room was dirty, top bunks weren’t made, air conditioner was some tiny piece of junk $80 unit from Home Depot that couldn’t keep up on an 84 degree day. Room was disgusting, dirty, in disrepair, mold in shower, mold ob counter caulk, door frame rotted, fridge rusted, floor is damaged, No a/c in bathroom, exhaust fan didn’t work, no parking. Do yourself a favor, find another place.

The water in the sink came out all over each person that used it. Terrible mess.
